Gerald H. Robinson

Gerald H. Robinson, 90, of Green Springs, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 18, 2025, surrounded by his family. Gerald was born January 23, 1935, to Carl and Francis (Cook) Robinson in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Jerry was a 1954 graduate of Green Springs High School. Gerald served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957 in Germany as a specialist and had a Third-Class Rank when he was discharged. After returning, he married Anna Aldrich of Helena, September 10, 1960, at Green Springs Methodist Church, and she survives. Gerald worked for Clyde Green Springs Schools as a custodian for 32 years and retired in 1989.

In his younger years, he enjoyed bowling, hunting, mushroom hunting and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed puzzles and cooking for his family. Above all, he was devoted to his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren and the great-grandchildren. He and Anna loved spending breakfast at Route Twenty Diner for over 45 years.

Gerald survives by his loving wife of 65 years, Anna (Aldrich) Robinson; children, Linda Robinson, Duane (Arlene) Robinson, and Barbara (Kevin) Wiseman; grandchildren, Curtis (Alicia) Matties, Brittany (James) Green, Whitney (Jason) Dick, Mariah (Paul) Williams, Andrew (Allie) Wiseman, and Garrett (Kortni) Wiseman; 14 great-grandchildren; along with two brothers, Ronald "Chris" Robinson of England and Dean Robinson of Clyde; and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Francis Robinson; three brothers, James Robinson, Dennis Robinson, and Donald Robinson; his granddaughter, Trinity Robinson; and his great-grandson, Connor Matties.

Visitation will be frm 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2025, at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N. Broadway St., Green Springs, OH 44836.

Services will follow visitation starting at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made in his honor to American Heart Association and Heartland Hospice.
