Gladys Binkley Obituary
Gladys R. Binkley, 92, of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Kobacker House in Columbus, with her family by her side. She was born October 28, 1933, the daughter of Robert H. and Nova (Copley) Gillmor. Gladys was a 1951 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Gladys married the love of her life, Glenn W. Binkley, September 8, 1951 in Old Fort, and he preceded her in death September 8, 2022. She loved to describe herself as a home maintenance engineer. Gladys was a member of Trinity United Methodist and Eastern Star. She enjoyed crafting and loved to spend time with her family.
Gladys is survived by her children, L. William "Bill" Binkley, Fremont, Linda Binkley (Buddy Boor), South Ogden, Utah, and Loretta "Lori" (Byron) Mann, Westerville; grandchildren, Greg Binkley, Melissa Stierhoff, and Garrett (Amber) Mann; great-grandchildren, Chase Stierhoff and Morgan Arthur; great-great-grandchildren, Mattix Arthur and Elio Flores; sisters-in-law, Mary Gillmor and Nancy Gilmor.
Gladys is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Louis (Robert) Voelzke, Clarence "Tom" Gillmor, Kenneth Gillmor, Jane Wheeler, Clara White and Dale Gillmor; and daughter-in-law, Carol Binkley.
A celebration of life and Eastern Star service will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Greenlawn Memory Gardens Chapel, 1793 W McPherson Hwy., Clyde, OH 43410.
Memorials can be made in Glady's honor to Trinity United Methodist Church, Fremont.
