Glenn W. Binkley

Glenn W. Binkley, 90, of Fremont, Ohio, passed away surrounded by his loving family Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at Bethesda Care Center. He was born Aug. 3, 1932, in Fremont, the son of Edward A. and Enid L. (Donahue) Binkley. He attended Fremont Ross High School.

Glenn married Gladys R. Gillmor on Sept. 8, 1951, in Old Fort. He was a self-employed contractor, doing general home repairs for 45 years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Glenn was Past Master Mason in 1980 at Green Springs Lodge #427, where he was a member since June 11, 1974, and a Past Patron of the Order of Eastern Star in Green Springs Chapter #299. He was also a life member of Zenobia Shrine of Toledo.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 71 years, Gladys R. Binkley of Fremont; children, Leroy "Bill" (Carol) Binkley of Fremont, Linda Binkley of South Ogden, Utah, and Loretta (Byron) Mann of Westerville; grandchildren, Greg Binkley, Melissa Stierhoff, and Garrett (Amber) Mann; great-grandchildren, Chase Stierhoff and Morgan Arthur; and great-great grandson, Mattix Arthur.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Bob, Don, John "Jack," and Gene Binkley, and Mildred "Grace" Hammer.

Private graveside services will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
