Gloria J. Valentic

Gloria J. Valentic, 70, of New Riegel, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, surrounded by family at Regency Hospital in Oregon, Ohio.

She was born September 21, 1954, in Tiffin to Harold L. and Mary E. (Church) England. She married Birchard A. Valentic on June 8, 1991.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Birchard of New Riegel; children, Birchard (Margarita) Valentic II of Hampstead, North Carolina and Jennifer (Preston) Morehouse of Marysville; brother, Ronald England of New Riegel; sisters-in-law, Diane England of Republic and Tammy (Ralph) Barrow of Jackson, South Carolina; mother-in-law, Betty Clark of Port Clinton; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Linda Wilcox, Judy Stockdale, Pamela Harrison, and Martha Burd; and two brothers, Richard and Steven England.

Gloria was a laborer for various companies throughout most of her adult life. She enjoyed crafts, camping, bingo and NASCAR. A ray of sunshine with a contagious smile and a flair for the dramatic, she loved spending time with her family and spoiling her beloved pets.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.
