Golden Hanna Obituary
Golden Hanna, 99, of Tiffin, passed away at 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
Golden was born Sept. 27, 1922, in Ned, Kentucky, to the late French and Martha (Francis) Watts. She married Melvin Hanna on June 12, 1943, in Alliance, Nebraska, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her two sons, Richard (Johan) Hanna of Tiffin and William (Jean) Hanna of Ottawa; daughter-in-law, Judy Hanna of Alaska; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; half-brother, Albert Watts of Kentucky; and sister-in-law, Ella Mae Watts of Tiffin.
Golden retired from General Electric and was a member of First Lutheran Church, Tiffin.
Golden was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth Hanna; four brothers; two sisters; and two great-granddaughters.
Golden's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2022, at First Lutheran Church of Tiffin with the Rev. Clayton Bailey officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. Burial will follow the services Monday at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Charles H. "Dad" Kernan Scholarship Fund. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.shookfamily.com.
