Gregory A. Frye

Gregory A. Frye, 49, of Perrysburg, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022.

He was born June 17, 1973, in Fremont, the son of Judy (Lamar) Wolf and Robert (Pattie) Frye.

He was a 1991 graduate of Bettsville High School, attended Heidelberg University in Tiffin, and was a 2008 graduate from Owens Community College in radiography.

Greg worked many years at Walmart in Tiffin and Fremont before joining ProMedica in 2008 where he worked in the imaging and radiography department, and most recently as a CT Technologist.

He loved Cleveland sports, especially baseball. He also enjoyed visiting a museum on every vacation, attending Toledo Mud Hens and Toledo Walleye games, making chili in the winter, and watching old movies. His daughters were the center of his world.

Gregory is survived by two daughters, Abigail and Mackenzie; their mother, Alison Frye of Perrysburg; his parents; seven siblings, Bobby (Susan) Frye, Betsy (Dave) McPhee, Kim Wohlgamuth, Doug (Jan) Wolf, Doc (Bridget) Wolf, Wendi Jay, and Jason (Nichole) Wolf; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Abigail.

Gregory's funeral will be 7 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home, 900 North Street, Fremont.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
