Gregory Straub Obituary
Gregory A. "Monz" Straub, 60, of rural Sycamore, died at 11:25 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Bridge Hospice, Findlay.
He was born March 31, 1962, in Seneca County, to Lloyd and Loretta (Bradley) Straub, and they survive in Tiffin. He married Crystal (Snyder) Stewart Straub on July 20, 2018, and she also survives in rural Sycamore.
Greg is also survived by two children, Justin (Karla) Straub of Republic and Cortney (Dan Presler) Straub of Chatfield; six stepchildren, Derrick Brown of San Diego, California, Jessica Brown of Cincinnati, Amanda (Jason) Meyer of Willard, Anthony (Summer) Stewart of Attica, Chelsea (Nick Connolly) Walton of Carey, and Bobbi Goeller of Virginia; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Michelle (Tom) Wartenberg of Delaware and Kathryn (Gary) Lackey of New Jersey; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Greg was a self-employed truck driver having worked for M.J. Miller Trucking and Roop Trucking. He was a member of Local 69 Brotherhood of Sycamore and he also served his country in U.S. Navy from 1983-1987.
For hobbies, he loved to race harness racing horses mainly with Ryan Stahl Racing, Republic. He also loved to do woodworking and play golf.
Greg's memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore. Burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
