Hilda May Lee

Hilda May Lee, 88, of Upper Sandusky and formerly of Fostoria, passed away Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center in Upper Sandusky.

She was born Dec. 1, 1935, in Willard, to Henry W. and Harmina Newmeyer. She married Ernie Lee who later passed away.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Dan (Amanda) Bulkowski, Joan Hill, and John (Erica) Hill Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Hilda was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, John Hill; and siblings, Herbert, Theodore, and Dale Newmeyer, Virginia Smith, Wilma Baumier, Emma Shetterly, Mary Fredrick, Harmena Elmer, Crystal Messersmith, Rose Wadsworth, and Julia Ginter.

Hilda was a 1953 graduate of Melmore High School and retired from Flechtner Meats.

Memorial visitation will be 12-2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria.

Memorials can be made to Tranquility Hospice, 1949 State Route 37 W., Delaware, Ohio, 43015.
