Howard Reinhart Obituary
Howard H. Reinhart, 90, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Mercy Health - St. Vincent Hospital.
Howard was born on May 3, 1934, to Robert and Ethel Kirian Reinhart. He married Marilyn Siebenaller August 21, 1954, at St. Nicholas Church in Frenchtown.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, and children, Steve "Tiny" (DeAnn Lewis) Reinhart of Tiffin and Greg (Kiyomi) Reinhart of Phoenix, Arizonia; grandchildren, Stephen of Tiffin and Tyler (Taylor Michalski) Reinhart of Republic; and great-grandchildren, Kollyns and Blakely.
In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard; and sisters, Rita Reinhart and Sally Rumschlag.
Howard graduated from New Riegel. He was a star basketball player and his team won the district championship in his senior year. He retired from Honeywell in 1996 as a ceramics technician after 30 years of service. He was a big fan of all sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns football teams. "Uncle Howie" was well known for teasing his nieces and nephews making everyone smile. If the weather was nice, he was found on his John Deere and mowed beautifully. If the weather was not nice he enjoyed doing crossword puzzles near the window in his chair. He always saw the bright side of life. He will be dearly missed by all.
His Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Jesse Chick officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with family from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made to Elara Caring Hospice.
