James Edward "Beau" Herman

James Edward "Beau" Herman, 41, of Tiffin, passed away Friday, Aug. 5, 2022.

He was born June 15, 1981, in Tiffin, to the late James and Connie (Sorg) Herman. He married Sarah Crull and they later divorced.

Surviving are his sons, Landon and Dylan Herman; Beau shared his birthday as a triplet with his sister, Jenna (John) Crull and brother, Robert (Charise) Herman; older sisters, Jamie (Eric Short) Twining, Jackie Herman, Julie (Buddy) Roach, Angie Ginnever, and Nikki (Dan) Reineke. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Herman Jr.; and grandparents, Kenneth and Genevieve Herman and Robert and Lois Sorg.

Beau was a 1999 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School and then attended Owens Community College, where he trained as an electrician and later worked on C17's. Beau proudly served in U.S. Air Force (1999-2005) during the Iraq and Afganistan wars.

Beau was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, and member of Fostoria's American Legion Post 73, Fostoria United Sportsmen's Club, VFW Post 421 and Amvets Post 69.

Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022, at Hoening & Son Funeral Home, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830, where a Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m.

Beau's funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, at the funeral home led by Jon Herman.

Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Cemetery with military honors provided by United Veteran's of Fostoria Honor Guard.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Beau's children's college fund or American Legion Post 73 in care of the funeral home.
