Grew up with Jimmy as a neighbor two doors down on Mohawk Road. Spent a lot of time together during those early years rooting for the Big Red Machine, playing ball, riding bikes, swimming, etc. Grateful for his childhood comraradery; I always looked up to him as he was just a bit older and was the unofficial leader of our endeavors. Knowing Jim, it seems to me he had the perfect career. Too young to go, my condolences to his family and especially to Barb and Bill.
