Thank you to all for visiting this page. Jan was a Baumgardner. (Tree gardener.) Please plant a tree in his memory. I would like his legacy, the legacy of his family (including his brother Carl Forest) to be a forest so that future generations will enjoy the safe, beautiful planet they grew up in.

My dad was one-of-a-kind. A day hardly goes by without me hearing some funny bit of wisdom he put into words. I'm grateful for all I learned from him, and all the love he gave me, especially in my first years and his last ones. In this photo with me and his brother Carl, you can see the best of his essence.
