Jane Gurney Obituary
Jane Gurney, 78, of Attica, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, at Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
Jane was born Feb. 20, 1945, in Willard, to Donald J. and Mildred (Rinker) Snay. She married Gary Gurney on Nov. 14, 1964, in West Independence, and he survives in Attica.
Jane's other survivors include a son, Eric Gurney of Attica; daughter, Krista Phillips of Attica; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Jane worked in childcare for most of her working life and was a member of Union Pisgah Church.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, LaDonna Jones and Karen Poth.
Jane's graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at Attica Venice Cemetery. There will be no visitation at this time.
Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, Bloomville, is assisting family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Seneca East Public Library.

Aunt Jane will always have a special place in our family's hearts. She was so loving, caring and always greeted us with her warm smile and loving heart splashed with a little humor. Aunt Jane and Uncle Gary taught their family the true meaning of love. Warmest hugs to all of you and we truly beleive she will always look down on all of you with sincere love and pride.
