Janet was my next-door neighbor when I lived on Monroe Street in what is now the Traunero Funeral Home. I used to help her father pick up walnuts that fell from a huge tree in their back yard. Her father, Wayne, always made sure that I participated in an annual Easter Egg hunt. She may have even been a baby sitter at times. My condolences to her family.
