Janet Uhl Obituary
Janet Ann Uhl passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Traditions at North Willow in Indianapolis, Indiana, after fighting with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's for the last couple of years.
She was born October 12, 1949, to Robert and Opal Uhl in Tiffin. Both are deceased. She is survived by her brother, Kenneth (Jane) of Englewood; nieces, Kristen (Jeff) Ahle of Bellefontaine, Kara (Steve) Poignon of Loveland, Kaitlyn (Zack) King of Vandalia, and Karleigh Uhl of Bellbrook; three great-nephews, a great-niece, and a great-great-niece and nephew survive.
Janet was a graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School and Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was employed after college by the State of Indiana and worked there in various Human Services capacities until her retirement. Throughout her years in Indianapolis, she nurtured many good friendships, which she spoke frequently about to family. She was an avid walker, reader, and loved giving back to the community through her volunteering with a local adult daycare.
A private family funeral and burial services will be at a later date at Crown Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery in Indianapolis. Memorial donations may be made to Tiffin Calvert School System.

I am so sorry to hear of Janet's passing. She was my cousin whom I haven't seen in years and lost touch with her and her brother. It's is a comfort to know she is with Aunt Opal & Uncle Bob in heaven. My sympathy to Kenneth and his family.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of a dear classmate. Janet and I had birthdays just a day apart and I always told her in school I was jealous because she got her birthday off from school beings it was Columbus Day.Opal volunteered at St Joseph when I worked there. She always brought great baked goods!! The Uhl´s....a great family!!! All were so kind!! Fly with the angels, Janet, as you´ve always been one!! My deepest sympathy to all of you!!
