Jean Burdock Obituary
Jean Elizabeth (Moyer) Burdock, 75, of Mt. Blanchard, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 2, 2024, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 22, 1949, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, to Snowden and Violet (Lettrell) Moyer. She married Richard D. Burdock on Feb. 11, 1984, and he survives.
Jean is also survived by her daughter, Lori Friend of Fostoria; stepdaughters, Julie Pichacz of Findlay and Shelley Kasch of Jefferson, Indiana; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Anna Plott of Fostoria; and brothers, Snowden (Barbara) Moyer Jr. of Tuscon, Arizona, William (Irene) Moyer of Fostoria, and Kyle Moyer of Green Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, James Moyer of Melmore and Steven Moyer of Fostoria.
Jean's family would like to offer their gratitude and appreciation for all of Jean's caretakers, especially those with Bridge Hospice, Dr. Cole, and the staff at Armes Cancer Care Center.
Jean's funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2024, in the chapel at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia.
COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 W. Sandusky Street, Findlay, has been entrusted with Jean's care.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.

Jean and I were cousins, 2 months apart. We wrote letters to each other when we were young. We told each other we would always be friends. The years came and went and we raised our families and never found the time to keep up with each other. The last time I saw her was at our grandmothers funeral. She had the most beautiful eyes and I loved her I hope she thought about the letters along life´s way. Sing with the Angels and sit at Jesus feet, my dear cousin and friend.
