Jean Riedel Obituary
Jean Marie (Cramer) Riedel passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, peacefully in Arizona from complications of Alzheimer's at 81 years old.
She was born April 5, 1943, in Tiffin to Frederick and Ruth (Werley) Cramer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Frederick "Butch" Cramer; twin sister, Janet "Mary" Cramer; brother, Richard Cramer; sister, Kathy Reinhart; and granddaughter, Kayla Mitten.
She is survived by her sister, Judy Gustafson; her three kids, Michael Mitten of Tiffin, Michele (Michael) McDaniel of Phoenix, Arizona; Mark (Heather) Mitten of Marysville; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She graduated from Calvert in 1962.
Jean worked at Tiffin Developmental Center, where she made a positive impact on the lives of many. She also worked in the retail stores at Tiffin Mall, always bringing her friendly and outgoing personality to every customer she met. Jean was known for her deep love of people and thrived in social settings. She cherished spending time with her family and friends, often finding joy in the simplest moments spent together.
Her love for life and the people around her was unmatched, and she left behind many fond memories.
A celebration of Jean's life will be for family and friends in the summer of 2025. Details of the service will be shared closer to the date.
Jean will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
