Jerry L. Coolidge

Jerry L. Coolidge, 81, of Tiffin, passed away Monday morning, Dec.9, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

January 27, 1943, in Lima, Jerry was born to Jason E. and Donna B. (Schneider) Coolidge. He married Cathy J. Smith on April 24, 1964, and she survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include his daughters, Stephanie (Jay) Raudebaugh of Tiffin and Cheri (Scott) Wagner of Toledo; four grandchildren, Chandler (Dan) Frankart, Payton (David Immele) Raudebaugh, Wyatt Raudebaugh and Maddy Wagner, great-grandson, Colter Frankart; and his dogs, Corky and Patches.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jerry was a 1963 graduate of Lima Senior High School and worked for Seneca Sheet Metal for over 30 years. Jerry and Cathy shared a passion for racing. Several of their 60 years together were spent racing Corvettes with Tri-Vets Corvette Club an affiliation with the National Council of Corvette Clubs. Jerry had a very successful "track" record throughout the Midwest. The next was spent in Port Clinton, where Jerry followed another passion and became a charter boat, Captain. Showing their love for their favorite NASCAR driver, the boat was named "03" fishing charters out of Lake Front Marina in Port Clinton. In 2019 Jerry was nominated for Charter Boat Captain of the Year. Jerry and Cathy spent most of their time at Wagon Wheel Trailer Park meeting more amazing friends.

Friends may visit from 3-6:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883. His funeral service will follow at 6:45 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Doug DeVos officiating.
