Jerry Morris Obituary
Jerry R. Morris, 86, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.
Jerry was born Sept. 9, 1938, in Tiffin to Lawrence and Winifred (Piper) Morris. He married Rosemary (Lawrence) in Tiffin May 19, 1979, and she survives in Tiffin.
Jerry retired from Columbia Gas and was a retired River Pilot on the Colorado River. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Tiffin VFW. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing cards. Jerry was a 1956 graduate of Tiffin Columbian and attended Tiffin University for two years.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; his children, Cathy Morris of Tiffin, Barry (Donna) Morris of Cleveland, Brian Morris of Hartland, Michigan, Bruce (Julie) Morris of Daytona Beach, Florida and Brian Courtney of Tiffin; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beverly Mestrey of Tiffin.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Vicki Noller.
Per Jerry's wishes there will be no services at this time. Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to United Veterans Council of Seneca County.

So sorry Rosie!! Jerry was a good man! I still remember Jerry form the Drive - Thru on Perry St. Him and my Dad really wooped it up!!
