Jill O'Connor Obituary
Jill C. O'Connor, 60, of Tiffin, passed away at 4:36 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, at her residence.
Jill was born Feb. 25, 1962, in Tiffin, to Robert P. Theis and Jane A. (Painter) Chaffee. She married Daniel J. O'Connor on Aug. 17, 1990, in Tiffin.
Jill's survivors include her husband, Daniel of Tiffin; four children, Brett O'Connor of Arcadia, Danny (Marissa) O'Connor of Galloway, Clayton (Heatherly) O'Connor of Tiffin, and Trevor (Olivia) O'Connor of Akron; three grandchildren; brother, Chuck (Laura) Theis of Tiffin; and sister, Lynn (Jerry) Swenson of Michigan.
Jill worked as an Occupational Therapist at St. Francis in the Chiara Unit. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and AmVets of Tiffin. She was a 1980 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and Owens Community College. Jill was an U.S. Navy veteran who enjoyed going to casinos, fishing, traveling, and just spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Jill was preceded in death by her father, Robert Theis; stepfather, Edwin Chaffee; brother, Robert Theis; and nephew, Eric Theis.
Jill's funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, and 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. There will be no burial at this time.
Memorial contributions may be made to Clinton Volunteer Fire Department, or to charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.shookfamilyfh.com.

Having Jill as a neighbor for over 8 years was such a great experience. She was always such a blessing in our lives. Our daughter, Meghan spent a ton of time at Jill´s with her boys and I never once had to worry. Jill will be missed! Love you Dan, Brett, Danny, Clayton and Trevor.
