Joan was my mother“s best friend, and she was like an aunt to me and my siblings. (The photo shows Joan with my mother and my daughter in March 2011.) Joan was probably the most upbeat, positive person I have ever known, with wonderful insights about life and a thoroughly delightful laugh! My deep condolences to Alisa and all other family members and friends. Joan will be sorely missed.
