Cecil Wilson Obituary
Graveside services for Cecil Wilson, 70 of Palestine, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 7, 2026 in Roselawn Park with Rev. Kevin Willmott officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
Cecil was born December 6, 1955 in Waco to Oweta Joyce (Crawford) and Albert Edward Wilson Jr. He passed away February 3, 2026 in Palestine.
He worked security for Texas Department of Corrections & maintenance director the Cartmell Home for Aged and was self-employed in construction.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law Billy Bambeck & Kirby Berryhill; sisters-in-law Cindy Wilson and Harriet Westmoreland; father-in-law Luther Westmoreland and mother-in-law Marceil Westmoreland.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years Wanda Wilson; siblings Joyce Ann Bambeck, Bonnie Berryhill and Bill Wilson; in-laws: Lavenda Baggett & spouse Mike Baggett, Terry Westmoreland and Sharon Deel; children; Mandy Wilson & Spouse James Wilson, Cody Wilson & spouse Christi Wilson, Dustin Wilson and Drake Wilson & spouse Brandy Wilson, grandchildren Haylie (Collin) Barton, Hayden Dixon, Gunner Wilson, Isabella Wilson, Harlyn Wilson, Samantha Wilson, James Wilson, Griffin Wilson and Kadence Wilson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Cody Wilson, Dustin Wilson, Drake Wilson, James Wilson, Hayden Dixon and Collin Barton.
In lieu of flowers please donate in memory of Cecil to the charity of your choice.
