Joyce Buchman Obituary
Joyce G. Buchman, 91, of Bettsville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, at Independence House, Fostoria.
She was born July 3, 1932, in Blakey, Georgia, to Jim and Trudy (Justis) Gowan.
Joyce is survived by three children, Laura Richardson of Georgia, Georgianne Pace of Mansfield, and Jim E. (Brenda) Pace of Fostoria; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Brenda Pangborne and Vickie Pace; eight siblings; and longtime companion, Darl Harrison.
Joyce was a caterer for America Legion in Bettsville and managed the former Riverview Inn located in Tiffin for many years. She enjoyed traveling and playing cards and was a member of Tiffin VFW, Tiffin Moose, and Bettsville American Legion.
There will be no services.
Arrangements are being handled by HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830.
Memorial contributions are suggested to charity of the donor's choice.
