Juanette Freeman Obituary
Juanette R. Freeman, 85, of Fostoria, passed away Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022, at St. Catherine's Manor, Fostoria. She was born Aug. 30, 1937, in Lily, Kentucky, to Lee and Lillie (Philpott) Nicholson. She married Arthur Freeman Sr. on April 28, 1956, in Jellico, Tennesse, and Arthur passed away June 17, 2001.
She is survived by sons, Theodore L. Freeman of New Riegel and Steven (Lisa) Freeman of Fostoria; daughters, Cindy S. Freeman of Findlay and Phyllis (Bill) Cavey of Fostoria; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Etta M. Malone and Alma L. (Harold) Goshe; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Arthur Freeman Jr.; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Frankie R. Payne.
Juanette worked at RCA, Copeland Corp., and Sherwood Plastics. She attended Fostoria Assembly of God and Amsden United Methodist Church over the years. She was also a 1956 graduate of Jackson Liberty High School. Juanette enjoyed baking, cooking, and watching game shows.
Juanette's funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Chaplain Mark Lovely officiating. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022.
Memorials can be made to American Leukemia Society or Legacy Hospice.
