Judith L. "Judy" Connors

Judith L. "Judy" Connors, 86, of Fostoria, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, in Worthington, Ohio.

She was born January 9, 1939, in Brookville, Pennsylvania, to the late Arthur and Leona (McDonald) Coulter. She married James E. "Jim" Connors on September 10, 1960, and he preceded her in death May 7, 2017.

Surviving are two daughters, Lisa (Rob) Peterson of Broadview Heights and Laura (John) Macias of Westerville; grandchildren, J. Charlie (Montana) Macias, Alex J. Macias, Janie L. Peterson, Kevin R. Macias and Julia M. Peterson; and a great-granddaughter, Harlow M. Macias.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Lee C. Connors; son-in-law, Robert Peterson; and a sister, Carole Armenio.

Judy started her nursing career in pediatrics and then worked for many years as an industrial nurse in Fostoria at Bendix, Atlas, and Cummins. She was an active member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church and was active with the Camp Fire Girls and the League of Women Voters. Judy enjoyed reading, needlework, and travel but was most passionate about her children and grandchildren.

Public visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830. Private funeral services will take place Thursday, with burial following at St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contribu-tions are suggested to Cotter House Kenney Foundation or National Church Residences Hospice in care of the funeral home.
