In 1969, she added a beloved sister-in-law, Sharon Miller, who also survives. In 1971, she earned the title of aunt with the addition of her first niece, Cassie Miller. Over the years she added more nieces and nephews, Robin (Matthew) Conley, Carl Miller, Minnie (Trent) Danner, Kittie (Dustin) Alvater, Heather (Brian) Wilks, Andy (Beverly) Kirby, Kendra (Jon) Myers, Lacie Kirby, Tiffany (Nick) Derr and grand-nephews and nieces, Rowland Carlson, Mylon Carlson, Mason Danner, Shelby Danner, JayLynn Altvater, Andi Altvater, Rae Lyn Sherman, Robyn Wilhelm, Zendra Mellinger, Brianna and Alexis Wilkins, Wyatt and Clayton Kirby, Mackenzie and Tyler Weatherholtz, Levi Myers, Kirby and Gavin Courtad, Allison, Vincent, Eli and Noelle Derr. Aunt Judy was a title she was proud to wear.

Judy graduated from USHS in 1970 and Marion Technical College in 1993. Judy loved collecting teddy bears, cuddling with her dogs, baking, crafting bowling, and playing Pokémon Go and geocaching.
