Judith Swartz Obituary
Judith A. Swartz, 63, of Upper Sandusky, died Friday, January 24, 2025, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 19, 1961 in Toledo to the late Gilbert & Germaine (Daniel) Vent. Judy married Terry J. Swartz on August 11, 1978, and he passed October 21, 2016.
She is survived by her children, Bryan (Kristi) Swartz, Crissy (Jerimy) Higgins, Justin (Samantha) Swartz, all of Upper Sandusky, 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Theresa Corfman of Upper Sandusky; two brothers, Joe (Sandy) Vent and Tim (Heather) Vent, both of Upper Sandusky; a sister-in-law, Irma (Darvan) Schoenberger; two brothers-in-law, Russell (Pam) Swartz and Dave (Juanita) Swartz. She was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Tim Corfman and Ronnie Swartz.
Judy was a 1979 graduate of USHS. She was a member of Transfiguration of The Lord Catholic Church. She was an STNA for over 28 years at Wyandot Manor, Fox Run, and Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events, plays, and recitals. The family would like to extend a "Thank You" to Cleveland Clinic for giving them all more time together.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at St. Mary's Chapel, Kirby, with Friar Daismon Varghese & Deacon Kevin Wintersteller officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Kirby. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Bringman Clark Funeral Home, with a Catholic Prayer Service at 7 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, or Westbrook Assisted Living in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
