June Coleman Obituary
June Coleman, 98, of Fostoria, passed away at 3:59 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, her 98th birthday.
She was born June 28, 1927, in Meigs County, Ohio, to the late Charles A. and Alma M. (Fredrick) Babcock. She married Francis "Bud" Coleman October 16, 1948, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Alvada, and he preceded her in death July 20, 1994.
Surviving are children, Gary (Diana) Coleman, Tiffin, Murray Coleman, Fostoria, Daniel Coleman, Columbus and Karen (Stephen) Hildreth, Pataskala; grandchildren, Kathryn, Andrew, Emma and John-Thomas; great-grandsons, Joseph and Henry.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Carl and Emmet Babcock; and sisters, Ruby Burke, Violet Hill and Garnet Thomas.
June was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and reading. She will be fondly remembered as a great cookie baker, but most of all, for the love she shared with her family.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025, at HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830, where funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, Alvada. A funeral lunch will then be served at Trinity Chapel, 252 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria.
Memorial contribu-tions are suggested to F.A.C.T. or Bridge Hospice.
