Karalyn Porter

Karalyn E. Porter, 29, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022 at her residence.

Karalyn was born August 18, 1992, in Soesterberg, Netherlands, to Lisa A. (Guy Abbott) Porter and Derek S. Porter all of Tiffin.

Survivors include her children, Caylee S.A. and Colton R. Carter both of Tiffin and their father, Joshua Carter also of Tiffin, two sisters, Emily B. (David) Porter-Roy of Houston, TX, Julia M. Porter of Kingwood, TX, a brother, Austin E.J. Porter of Tiffin, a niece, Adalyn M. Dawson, of Kingwood, TX, maternal grandfather, Larry Miller of Tiffin, paternal grandfather, Norman Kinn of Tiffin, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Karalyn most recently worked at Wall Street Pub as a waitress. She worked hard in her recovery and was a graduate of the PIVOT Program. She enjoyed shopping, Iced Coffee, being outdoors and being a dog mother to "Bella". Karalyn was a 2010 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and also attended Bowling Green State University. Most of all Karalyn enjoyed being a mother to her children.

Karalyn was preceded in death by a niece, Joy-Anne Roy, maternal grandmother, Denise Miller and her paternal grandmother, Jackie Kinn.

Funeral services for Karalyn will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Thursday from 3:30 p.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. There will be no burial at this time. The family would also like to invite everyone for a celebration of Karalyn's life and sharing stories following the services at the funeral home to the Tiffin Am-Vets.

Memorial contributions may be made in the name of her children or to the recovery center or program of the donor's choice.
