Kisha K. Carver-Mathias

Kisha K. Carver-Mathias, 46, of rural Tiffin, passed away Saturday morning, Feb. 4, 2023, at Mercy Health - St. Vincent Hospital, Toledo.

She was born Jan. 2, 1977, in Tiffin, to William and Vicki (Jackson) Carver. She married Dustin Mathias on Oct. 9, 2021.

She is survived by her husband, Dustin of rural Tiffin; mother, Vicki Carver of Tiffin; sister, Tanika Carver of Delaware; grandmother, Judy Jackson of Tiffin; nephew, Xavier; niece, Aalyiah; dog, Hemi; cat, Franky; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father in 2004; brother, Josh Carver in 2014; and grandparents, Donald Jackson, Lonnie Carver, and Hettie Johnson.

Kisha was a 1995 graduate of Tiffin Columbian and attended The Ohio State University. She was a proud veteran of U.S. Navy, serving six years. She was stationed in Maine until she moved back to Tiffin. She was a Legal Aid for Wylkan Law in Fremont and currently an Executive Assistant for Family Resource Center in Findlay which specializes in mental health and addiction recovery. She was a member of American Legion Post 354, New Riegel, volunteered for Dress-Right-Dress, and enjoyed motorcycle rides and trips to Lake Erie.

Kisha's funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Stephanie Little officiating with military honors by American Legion Post 354.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
