Laura C. Brown

Laura C. Brown, 75, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024, at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.

Laura was born Dec. 14, 1948, in Lenoir, North Carolina, to Homer Riley and Barbara Ruth (Alvis) Griffin. She married Kenneth Clay Brown on June 19, 1965, in Bloomville, and he preceded her in death Oct. 24, 2013.

Laura's survivors include her children, Kim (Rick) Long of Bloomville, Kenny (Cassandra) Brown of Tiffin, Ron (Kim) Brown of Moline, Margie (Craig) Allarding of Rockledge, Florida, Jeff (Margie) Brown of Colorado, and Jim Brown of Upper Sandusky; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Bob Griffin; and sister, Sue Griffin.

Laura worked construction with her husband and was a member of Bloomville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards with her family, crocheting, and just spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Karen Ash; three brothers, Homer Riley, Charles H., and Donald Griffin; and sister, Abbie Jean Griffin.

Laura's memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, Bloomville. Visitation for family and friends will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bloomville.

Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice.

Laura was indeed a true friend at last she is in a peacful place my condolences to her children and family sorry I won't beable to be to the service that is a work day for me
