Leah Russell Obituary
Leah A. Russell, 85, of Fostoria, passed away Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
She was born July 25, 1938, in Lindsborg, Kansas, to Arthur and Vivian (Nelson) Rasmussen. She first married Thomas D. Kiesel and they divorced. She then married Clarence Russell and he later passed away.
Leah is survived by her daughters, Mary (Tim) Smith and Kim (Bill) Steinmetz, both of Bettsville; brothers, Marion (Dorothy) Rasmussen of Stockton, California, and Marvin (Carol) Rasmussen of Walnut Creek, California; grandchildren, Aaron (Tammy) Smith, Laura Smith, Misty (Marcus) Heilman, and Crystal (Chris) Luman; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Arthur Rasmussen Jr.
Leah worked as a STNA and was a woodworker.
There will be no local funeral. Graveside services and burial will take place in Lindsborg, Kansas.
Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, will be handling local arrangements.
