Lennard Montgomery Obituary
Lennard Ray Montgomery, 85, of Tiffin, passed away at 2:56 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, at his residence.
Lennard was born Sept. 12, 1937, in Gage, Kentucky, to the late Herbert and Ella (Hammons) Montgomery. He married Ethel Faye (Craft) on June 21, 1956, in Gage, Kentucky.
Lennard's survivors include his wife, Ethel Montgomery of Tiffin; daughter, Carol (Mark) Runion of Fort Seneca; three grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brother, John Montgomery of Green Springs; and sister, Catherine Stout of Jonesville, Michigan.
Lennard retired from Whirlpool, Clyde, after 48 years and was a member of Kansas Ohio Church of God. Lennard worked in the church and loved wood working.
Lennard was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Chris and Craig Montgomery; and brother, Edward Montgomery.
Lennard's funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will be 12-1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow services Wednesday at Pleasant Union Cemetery, Old Fort.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
