Linda Burdette Obituary
Linda M. Burdette, 80, of Green Springs, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2024, at her home aurrounded by her family.
Linda was born June 18, 1943, in Tiffin, to Cyril and Mable (Zender) Kirian. She attended Tiffin Calvert High School. Linda married Paul Burdette on Feb. 19, 1960, at St. Mary's Church in Tiffin and he survives.
Linda worked for Green Springs Schools as a cashier, Fashion Bug, and family chaos coordinator. Linda was a mom, grandma, great-grandma, and friend to everyone and always enjoyed having a house full of family and friends. She was known for her homemade doughnuts and hosting summer pool parties. Linda enjoyed making Christmas cookies and candies, game nights, traveling, sledding, and mashing many pounds of potatoes. She loved supporting her grandchildren in various activities.
Linda is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paul Burdette; children, Jody Shetzer of Green Springs and Amy (Rick) Rosenberger of Clyde; grandchildren, Nikki (Doug) Lee, Danielle (Jack) King, Aric (Jessica) Rosenberger, and Alex (Lydia Baumann) Rosenberger; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, Jackson, Emma, and Ella; and sister, Becky Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Larry Kirian; and son-in-law, Dan Shetzer.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, until the time of Linda's services at 6 p.m. at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home, Green Springs, Ohio, 44836.
Memorials can be made in her honor to Stein Hospice or Stem Town.

Dear Paul and Family, I would like to send my condolences to you all. Linda was a very special person to me and I thought of her often. We had fun working together at Fashion Bug and she will always be a fond memory for me. My husband sends his condolences as well and remembers the fun we had at the pool party many years ago. God bless you all and know I have you in my heart at this very sad time.

Dear Paul and family, we extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Linda was a very sweet and beautiful person. I remember when you came to Arizona and we met at the Cleveland Indians ball park. That was a fun time together. May you find comfort in all the fond memories and the Love from all your family and friends. May Jesus Mary and Joseph welcome Linda into their Holy Fsmily. She´ll be so happy forever.
