Lisa A. Ekuerugbe

Lisa A. Ekuerugbe, 55, of Massillon, died at 6:21 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, at University Hospital, Cleveland.

She was born May 12, 1969, in Findlay to Raymond L. and Elaine (Hoover) McGinnis. She married Ovoke Ekuerugbe, Dec. 23, 2021, in Kyiv, Ukraine. She dearly loved her husband, and he survives in Nigeria.

Other survivors include her mother, Elaine Cantu of Tiffin; a daughter, Liv Klug of Massillon; a sister, Cheryl Mawhirter of Tiffin; several nieces and nephews; and her granddog, Bucky. She was affectionately called "Aunt Psi."

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond McGinnis.

Lisa graduated in 1987 from Hopewell-Loudon High School. She worked as a retail administrator at Infocision in Akron. Lisa enjoyed the ocean, animals, traveling, watching paranormal TV shows, and going to the beach, and she had an artistic flair. Lisa made friends everywhere she went. She always had a positive outlook and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, followed by the funeral at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Phil Moerdyk officiating, all at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.
