Lois M. Smith

Lois M. Smith, 88, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Findlay Care Center.

She was born May 25, 1936, in Tiffin, to Wilbur and Helen (Reiter) Prindle. She married Paul A. Smith on Aug. 3, 1956, at First Christian Church.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry (Jennifer) Smith of Huntington Beach, California, and John Smith of Tiffin; daughters, Terry Cservenak of Valparaiso, Indiana, and Mary Smith of Tiffin; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul A. Smith; and sister, Betty Barker.

Lois was a 1954 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. She was a direct care worker for Pearl Martin Center and the 181 House and she waitressed at area restaurants. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels, was an avid reader and fan of the True Crime TV series, enjoyed going on day trips, traveling with her husband, playing Bingo, and loved family get-togethers.

Services were private and burial was at Greenlawn Cemetery.

Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice Care or Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
