Lonnie Beard Obituary
Lonnie G. Beard, 56, of Bloomville, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic.
Lonnie was born March 28, 1967, in Tiffin, to Daniel Stumpp and Mary Belle (Beard). He married Kathy (Seasly) on April 26, 2007, in Republic, and she survives in Bloomville.
Lonnie's other survivors include his children, Sean (Brittany Schaadt) of Van Wert, Austin (Heather Horton) of Van Wert, Parker Beard of Tiffin, Kennedy (Kaleb Leeth) of Bloomville, William Beard of Bloomville, and Sydney Beard of Bloomville; four grandchildren; brother, Chris (Leanna Posey) of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews.
Lonnie worked as a volunteer fireman and EMT. Lonnie was a 1986 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and U.S. Marine veteran who served during Desert Storm. Lonnie enjoyed model cars, fishing, NASCAR, and cooking for family and co-workers.
Lonnie's funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, Bloomville. Visitation for family and friends will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will follow services Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bloomville, with military rites being rendered by United Veterans Council.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bloom Township Volunteer Fire Department.
