Louise Kline Obituary
Louise Yvonne (Covert) Kline, 100, passed away suddenly at 6:07 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
Louise was born Aug. 16, 1921, in Tiffin, to the late Glenn and Myrtle (Thompson) Covert. Louise was orphaned at the age of 9 and was raised in Bascom by her uncle and aunt, Lyle and Elizabeth Wyans. Louise married Charles Junior Kline on Nov. 21, l940, in Covington, Kentucky. Louise and Charles enjoyed retirement in Tucson, Arizona. Charles passed away June 24, 2000.
Survivors include a son, Robert (Terri) Kline of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; daughters, Betty (Harold) Whipple of Tiffin and Suzette (Kenneth) Hineline of Fremont; grandchildren, Tonia (Scott) Anderson of Findlay, Timothy (Laura) Daughenbaugh of Tucson, Arizona, Todd (Leigh) Daughenbaugh of Delaware, Ohio, Eric (Jami) Hineline of Fremont, and Shawn (Cynthia) Hineline of Fremont. Complimenting her family are 10 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandson.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters, Dorothy Smith and Evelyn Dieter.
Louise was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She attended Columbian High School, Tiffin, and Hopewell-Loudon High School, Bascom, being one of the first classes to attend the newly built school.
The family wish to thank the nursing staff, STNA's and administration of Autumnwood Care Center for their care, kindness, and compassion towards Louise. A special thank you to Sherry, Misty, Laurie, and Susie.
Louise's funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Engle Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Thursday at Sandridge Cemetery, Bascom.
Memorials may be made to charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.shookfamilyfh.com.

I remember all the trips to Arizona to visit Grandma Louise and Grandpa Charlie. There were some wonderful memories made. Although I am not a granddaughter by blood, I felt loved and part of the family always. <3 Fly high and enjoy reuniting with Grandpa Charlie and all who have gone before you. You will be greatly missed.
