Lynette Ringle Obituary

Lynette R. Ringle

Lynette R. (Rogier) Ringle, 60, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024, at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center following a long, courageous battle with AL Amyloidosis.

She was born May 8, 1964, to Earl E. and Rita M. (Seifert) Rogier. She first married Richard Clifton and they later divorced. She then married Paul W. Ringle on June 14, 2009, and he survives in Tiffin.

Lynette's survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Clifton of Tiffin and Renee (Anthony) O'Rourke of Powell; stepdaughter, Caitlin (Jacob) Scarbury of Bloomville; stepson, Tony Ringle of Bloomville; granddaughter, Olivia O'Rourke; stepgrandchildren, Abigail and Kyle O'Rourke, Lillian Grimes, Josiah Bradley, and Natalee Scarbury; mother, Rita of Tiffin; sisters, Andrea (Jim) Gase and Christine Randall, both of Tiffin; brothers, Mike (Kim) Rogier of Clinton Township, Michigan, and Steve (Vanessa) Rogier of Hilliard; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Kim Clifton of Tiffin; and friends who were like family including her "BFAW."

She was preceded in death by her father; and infant brother, Ronald Rogier.

Lynette graduated from Columbian High School in 1982 and was employed by Mercy Hospital of Tiffin for 40 years in various roles. She was a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist and was instrumental in developing the sleep lab in Tiffin in 1996. She served as coordinator of both the Tiffin and Willard Mercy sleep labs. Family and friends were the most important gifts to her and she loved spending as much time with them as possible. She loved to be outdoors, tending to her flowers and garden. She also enjoyed traveling, Ohio State football games, and caring for her beloved pets and wildlife. She cherished family movie and game nights and could be counted on to make everyone laugh with her competitive spirit and her over the top cackles. Most of all, her greatest joy was being "Gamma" to Olivia. Lynette was known for her kind and nurturing spirit and will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. A Rosary will be recited 30 minutes prior to Mass. Visitation for family and friends will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. Burial will follow services Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hematology Research Fund at The Ohio State University or charity of the donor's choice.
