Lynnette Wurm

Lynnette J. Wurm, 51, of Shelby, died at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, at Ohio Health, Mansfield.

She was born June 30, 1972, in Tiffin, to Donald E. and Ruth E. (Hassinger) Johnson, who both survive in McCutchenville. She married Julius Wurm on April 22, 2006, and he survives in Shelby.

Lynnette is also survived by a guardian, Destiny Robinson; and brother, Aaron (Crystal) Johnson of Sycamore.

Lynnette worked 16 years as Office Manager for the former BP substation in Tiffin. She was a 1990 graduate of Mohawk High School and graduate of Mt. Vernon Nazarene. She currently was working at the Plymouth Branch of the Richland County Library. She was a member of Tiffin First Church of the Nazarene where she was very involved in many church committees.

For hobbies, she loved to watch her nieces and nephews participate in school and sporting events, loved to read, do legos, cook, bake, loved to do 3D printing, and watch any sporting event on TV.

Lynnette's funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Tiffin First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Doug Lillo officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery, Crawford County. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
