Marga Yvette Rodriguez

Marga Yvette Rodriguez, 49, of Tiffin, passed away at 3:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, at Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital surrounded by her family and two of her closest friends after battling hard against cancer for five years.

She was born April 30, 1974, in Fremont, to Arturo and Nancy (Gruhn) Rodriguez.

Marga's survivors include a son, Breighton Miller; daughter, Britny (Todd) Focht; three grandchildren, Jaxon, Louis, and Samuel; siblings, Faith (Tim) Norville and Rick Rodriguez, all of Tiffin; nephews, Kyle and Kaden; nieces, Maddyson, Austin, and Alainnah; and close friends who were like family and were some of her biggest cheerleaders in her corner!

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Arthur and William Rodriguez; sister, Carmie Rodriguez; niece, Stacey Kusz; and cousin, Gregory Herrera Rodriguez Jr.

Marga was a 1992 Columbian High School graduate and was a homemaker. Her love for family, friends, and her grandpups along with her desire to have more time to spend with them, helped fuel her drive to survive and persevere through difficult circumstances. Many of you who knew Marga would agree that she had this kind of spicy personality that would often leave no questions about where you stood with her or what she thought about your outfit. She labored hard to serve her family and she was deeply loved. Whether you knew her as Mama, Mimi, Sis, Auntie M, Marga, Mae, or whatever it might be, thank you for being in her life. HER LIFE HAD A PURPOSE AND SO DOES YOURS.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, until the time of Marga's memorial services at 3 p.m., both at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, (419) 447-3113. The Rev. Ben Sandrock will officiate.
