Bingo was a favorite event and playing cards and enjoying a meal with her friends at the bingo halls before the bingo began was as well. The monthly Smith Family Dinners were something she looked forward to, along with gathering with her own ever growing family at the Royal Buffet for holidays and birthdays. She recently celebrated her 91st birthday there with her children and many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and blew out the birthday candles with her great-great-granddaughter, Ellora Jayne.
Being a breast cancer survivor for over 10 years was a source of pride for Margaret Ann. She contributed to cancer charities and Marching for Mousie was a highly successful fundraiser in her name.
Margaret Ann was proud of being computer savvy at her age and she loved playing computer games, keeping in touch through Facebook and Facetime. Saturdays would always find her watching the Ohio State Buckeyes football game on television. She was often deeply engrossed in a Hallmark movie with a glass of wine.
The family joins with great granddaughter, Carys, in saying, "I just loved that lady!" She will be missed.
