Marilyn Heminger Obituary
Marilyn Mae Heminger, 96, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
She was born Aug. 1, 1926, in Tiffin, to Lester and Kittie (Brayton) Morton. She married Gerald A. "Jerry" Heminger on May 29, 1945, and he preceded her in death in 2006.
Marilyn's survivors include her son, Gerald A. "Jerry" (Susan K.) Heminger Jr. of Norwalk; daughters, Sharon (Michael) Lee of Tiffin, Kathryn Myers of Walbridge, and Shirley Narducci of Fort Seneca; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and rescue dog, Buddie, who gave her much love and happiness.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons-in-law, David Myers and David Narducci; brothers, Lester Morton Jr. and Robert Morton; and grandson, James Hull.
Marilyn retired from the dietary department at Tiffin Developmental Center. She was a member of the YMCA for 28 years. Marilyn was strong-minded, loved her family and her dogs, enjoyed drawing, gardening, yard work, and was a supporter of animals.
Marilyn's funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, (419) 447-2424, with the Rev. Clayton Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Seneca County.
