Mark A. Klepatz

Mark A. Klepatz, 63, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Green Springs, after nine years of a long illness.

He was born May 26, 1959, in Bedford, Ohio, to Theodore W. and Patricia A. (Riggs) Klepatz. He married Patricia Sato on July 9, 1982.

Mark's survivors include his wife, Patricia Sato of Tiffin; son, William Klepatz of Tiffin; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rosemary (Dave) Keskinen of Solon and Dianne (Jim Armstrong) Sato of Solon; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mark was a 1977 graduate of Solon High School. After high school, he graduated from Kent State and University of Akron School of Law. He started his career as a Public Defender and then moved on to private practice as a Defense Attorney. He was the Prosecutor for City of Tiffin for five years.

Mark enjoyed yard work, gardening, playing video games, watching western T.V. shows, vacationing, and spending time with his family at Myrtle Beach. He loved his cats, Chewy and Ghost.

There will not be any services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wyandot County Humane Society.

Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family with arrangements.
