Marlene F. Seifert

Marlene F. Seifert, 80, of Tiffin, passed away Friday afternoon, June 30, 2023, at Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital.

Marlene was born April 28, 1943, in Fremont, to Harold and Isabell (Elchert) Bumb. She married Kenneth Geyman and he passed away in 1965. She then married Kenneth Seifert on Nov. 25, 1967, and he also preceded her in death in 2007.

Marlene is survived by her sons, Larry (Nancy) Seifert of Tiffin, Roger Seifert of Tiffin, and Gary (Angie) Seifert of Tiffin; daughter, Rose (Doug) Wilhelm of Tiffin; brothers, Gerald (Shirley) Bumb of Sycamore, Delbert (Karen) Bumb of New Riegel, and Richard (Chris) Bumb of Alvada; sisters, LaDonna Hucke of Carey, Berneda Brady of Sycamore, and Percilla Nye of New Riegel; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ronald Bumb.

Marlene was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and 1961 graduate of New Riegel High School. She traveled the United States and enjoyed farming and gardening. Her family was her life.

Marlene's Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation for friends will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin.
