Martin Rice Obituary
Martin J. "Marty" Rice, 67, of Toledo and formerly of Bloomville, passed away Thursday morning, March 21, 2024, at The University of Toledo Medical Center.
Marty was born July 17, 1956, in Mansfield, to William A. and Mary F. (Blaser) Rice.
Marty's survivors include his brother, Chris (Tina) Rice of Bloomville; sister, Julie (Dennis) Kochel of New Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marty worked as a florist at Bart Viviano Flowers and Gifts in Toledo, retiring in 2021. He was a member of Bloomville United Church of Christ. Marty was a 1974 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.
It was Marty wishes that there will be no services conducted at this time.
Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, Bloomville, is assisting family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions can be made to charity of the donor's choice.

Oh this makes me so sad. When we were kids, Marty was always so nice to us when we visited my grandparents in Bloomville.
In my mind´s eye I see that smile of his. He had a beautiful, gentle heart and this world was not ready for the likes of him. But to me he was a ray of sunshine.
I am truly sorry to read that he has passed. I wish him great peace in his next journey.
