Mary Ruth Frisch

Mary Ruth Frisch, 96, of Tiffin, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.

She was born July 18, 1926, in Upper Sandusky, to Vincent and Constance (Orians) Arnold. She married Robert Frisch on Sept. 17, 1949, in Carey, and he died Sept. 6, 1974.

Survivors include a son, James (Alicia) Frisch of Tiffin; three daughters, Patricia Kesler of Tiffin, Cynthia (Floyd) Diaz of Bascom, and Jean (John) Cook of Tiffin; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Paul Arnold of Carey and Carl Arnold of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Andre Frisch; brother, David Arnold; sister, Jean Doran; and three grandsons, Jesse Diaz, Ethan Hendrick, and David Lee Sines Jr.

Mary delivered for Advertiser-Tribune for many years and later was a bus driver for Seneca County Opportunity Center for 18 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a Eucharistic Minister, and its Rosary Altar Society. She taught guitar and accordion at Vi's School of Music.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, (419) 447-3113.

Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited 30 minutes prior to Mass.
