Mary Ann Payne

Mary Ann Payne, 74, of Tiffin, passed away at 2:35 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2022 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

Mary Ann was born November 7, 1947, in Tiffin, to the late Alfred and Eileen (Troup) Kirian. She married Charles Edwin Payne at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tiffin on October 29, 1966.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Charles E. Payne of Tiffin, two sons, Anthony "Tony" (Jennifer) Payne and John Payne both of Tiffin, three grandchildren, Jaccob, Alexia and Noelle Payne, five great-grandchildren and a sister, Kay Young of Delta.

Mary Ann worked as a caretaker and babysitter for most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a 1966 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School.

There will be no funeral services for Mary Ann at this time. Burial will be held at a later date at Fountain cemetery in Fostoria. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.shookfamilyfh.com.
