Mary Ann (Huss) Rumschlag

Mary Ann (Huss) Rumschlag, 68, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022, in St. Petersburg, Florida, after a lengthy battle with lung cancer.

She was born Dec. 15, 1953, to Paul Vincent and Amabilis (Dee) (DeMonte) Huss.

She is survived by her son, Joshua (Sarah) Rumschlag; grandson, Henry of St. Petersburg, Florida; sisters and brothers, Judy (Dean) Walliser of Lancaster, Paul (Paula) Huss Jr. of Tiffin, Sue Wampler of Union, Ohio, Chuck (Linda) Huss of Dunbar, West Virginia, and Jim (Michelle) Huss of Palm Harbor, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, Danny Rumschlag; and brother-in-law, John Wampler.

The love of Mary's life was her family. She treasured her times with her grandson, Henry, walking to the park, relaxing at the beach, reading together, and playing games. Mary Ann also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, reading, and watch sports on TV.

A 1972 graduate of Calvert High School, Mary earned her Associate Degree in Business Administration at Tiffin University. Mary worked her way through college as a Dental Assistant, waitress at Pioneer Mill, and employee at RCA in Findlay. In Florida, she was a hostess at her brother Jim's restaurant, JR's.

Private burial will be 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, 2022, at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will attend Mass at 10 a.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 85 S. Sandusky St., Tiffin.

There will be a public celebration of life to meet with the family in the upper room of The Renaissance of Tiffin, 129 S. Washington St., Tiffin, from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a Hospice in your area.
