Melvin Sager

Melvin W. Sager, 71, of Tiffin, and formerly of Fort Seneca, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.

He was born May 4, 1952, in Tiffin, to Samuel N. and Pauline (Rau) Sager. He married Kelly (Mohr) Sager and she preceded him in death July 11, 2021.

Melvin is survived by a son, Cory Sager of Palm Springs, California; grandchildren, Axezander and Broooklynne Rochester; and sister, Janet Meisner of Tiffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kendra Rochester; sister, Grace Smith; and brothers, Charles Sager and Samuel Sager Jr.

Melvin attended Old Fort Schools. Melvin's hobbies included repairing electronics such as radios, VCRs, TVs, etc. Melvin also loved to listen to music and collect movies.

Melvin's celebration of life service will be at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made to Autumnwood Care Center or the donor's choice in care of Walton-Moore Funeral Home, P.O. Box 350, Sycamore, Ohio, 44882.
